Mobilink and TransferTo Team Up for International Airtime Transfer Service

TransferTo, the international mobile airtime transfer company, and Mobilink, Pakistan's market leader in cellular services and part of Orascom Telecom Holding, today announced a partnership to enable Pakistanis living abroad to send the gift of Jazz airtime to their loved ones back home.

Mobiles phones using Jazz Mobilink's prepaid services can now be topped-up through TransferTo's international airtime transfer network, which is comprised of mobile operators, point of sale retailers, and its online top-up service.

Pakistani subscribers in Saudi Arabia, for example, can send Jazz top-ups simply by SMS if they are STC subscribers, a partner operator. The transaction is processed in real-time through TransferTo's secure platform.

"We're extremely pleased to be collaborating with Mobilink to offer our customers a larger choice of Pakistan airtime top-up options," said Eric Barbier, TransferTo Founder and CEO. He added: "The service will greatly benefit Pakistanis abroad who want to send low cost, high-value gifts to their loved ones back home as a complement to their cash remittances."

Bilal Munir Sheikh, Vice President Marketing Mobilink said, "Jazz, Pakistan's favourite prepaid cellular brand is presently offering the largest portfolio of value-added services to its valued customers. With the addition of this international top-up service, we are pleased to expand our services and reach across the borders for ease and convenience of our Mobilink family."
